I don't know about this election..........

I'm still thinking about this next election... a lot. I keep changing my mind, I just don't know.

For the most part, I agree with Obama. The thing is... I don't know if I trust Obama. I really have no reason, and I won't blame it on inexperience. I just get strange vibes from him at times. Now, though, that I'm feeling less on edge about everything, I think that I am trusting him more - gradually.

Then there's McCain. Before he was so anti-torture, and I respected him so much for that. Now, though, it seems he's changing to fit the party line - he needs their support after all. I can't respect that. How corrupt could a torture victim be to think that torture is ever okay??? It is NOT okay. Never. EVER. If he can just change like that, I don't trust him... I don't trust him as much as Obama - which isn't saying much about how much I will trust McCain.

Then, I saw McCain on some random TV show. He said that he wants to have a respectful campaign with Obama. Thus far, I have seen more than one commercial, endorsed by McCain, just attacking Obama. Funny thing is, none of them really make sense. "Who can you blame for high oil prices? Obama" - Actually, not really. He hasn't done anything regarding it YET. Not to mention the high prices are good, because people are actually conserving and looking for alternatives.. but that's besides the point. (America has really taken a lot from Jews - nobody cares until it starts costing more... heh...)

And then back to who do I trust. It would seem I like Obama more... I just don't know right now.

I wish there was another choice..... like Hillary.... don't kill me, Hillary haters..............

i don't really know about this election either. if i thought nader had a chance, i'd vote for him. but quite frankly, i'll do my part to keep mccain out of office. just my opinion.

I wish Hillary was still in this one. Now we have only two, neither of whom I trust. This just feels like a lose-lose situation to me. But that's probably just plain-old paranoia.

Yeah.... I would vote for Nader too. Thing is, he just takes votes from the party I tend to agree with more... and he has no chance. No point. I wish Hillary was still in... I actually trusted her..

Well... What other issues are important to you? Have you looked at both candidates views on health care, reproductive choice, education, the economy, etc?

i think we're slightly less doomed with obama. slightly. and i won't vote for mccain simply because of his viewpoints on well,....pretty much everything :)
